Welcome to St. John’s Episcopal Church! Holy Eucharist is celebrated on Sundays at 8:00 am & 10:00 am. Choral Evensong is offered on the first Sunday of each month at 4:00 pm, during the academic year. (Nursery care is provided during the 10:00 am service and during Choral Evensong).
Since 1835, the Parish of St. John’s has been worshiping and serving God, both from within our Church family and within our community of Bangor, Maine. We conduct traditional Episcopal services in our historic gothic building high atop State Street Hill at 225 French Street. We have a notable choir who has a reputation for fine music-making in the Anglican choral tradition. Please join us as we worship in prayer and song!
